Riding Around the Neighborhood

Marcel’s parents came to visit a couple weekends ago, and gave Neil an early birthday present.  He loves to be pushed around the yard and neighborhood in his new car.

He doesn’t know how to use the horn, but he does like to steer

Neil thinks the car is fun, even when he’s not in it

His favorite part of the car is the hood, which he likes to open and close – he has only closed his hand in it once

Toys in the car!

He likes it when he let him roll down the driveway by himself

Seven, Eight, Nine Teeth

Neil’s teeth continue to come in groups, and not in the order they should.  On Tuesday his upper right first molar (usually gotten around 13-19 months), poked through.  On Thursday his lower left canine (16-23 months) appeared, and his lower left lateral incisor cut through on Friday.  Needless to say, he has been pretty grumpy this week, and we think he has at least three more on the way.

He doesn’t like showing off his teeth, especially the ones more in the back

Learning to Walk

Neil likes to explore the house, walking around to find the toy he wants to play with or find out what Marcel or I are doing.  His ability and speed seem to change, depending on how excited he is to get where he’s going.  Here he’s not too interested in coming to see me, but does appear to be having fun making noises.
